It all started from one night when I read the tag on my leggings. 88% polyester (plastic).
That messed with me. I spent the next two years trying every organic and sustainable legging I could find. They all went see-through when I bent over. Or sagged after two washes. Or were secretly still mostly plastic. I wasted THOUSANDS on returns. So I decided to just make them myself.
I started sourcing fabrics from everywhere I could find. I ordered sample after sample - testing different weights, different knits, different blends. Every time one arrived I'd sew a test pair and do the squat test in my bathroom mirror. Too thin. See-through. Too stiff. Wrong texture. 38 samples tested. Every single one failed.
39th was different. Stretchier. Denser. I put them on, squatted, and checked. Nothing showed through. I'm not going to lie - I teared up a little.
I sewed the first batch myself in California. Packed orders by hand. Now over 4,500 women have ordered. We've sold out twice. Just moved into a real office. I still ship orders, read every review, and we still sew everything myself right here in California.
